These Conditions of Use apply to all contracts for the Sale of Goods entered into by Bike-X™ (here in after referred to as “Bike-X”); where an order is submitted to Bike-X it will be accepted on these conditions, and no other.   

Purchase from Bike-X 

When you place an order with Bike-X you are offering to buy the goods and in doing so allow us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying these goods. We will supply you with the products you order when we receive your order is confirmed. This is when the contract for sale of products between you as the customer and Bike-X is made. Title in the goods shall not pass to you until you have paid for the goods in full. Until title passes from us to you by way of payment in full you shall store and secure the goods at your own cost, clearly identified that they are still the property of Bike-X. The price payable for goods is displayed on the website at the time of placing an order. If any goods have been incorrectly priced on the website, we shall not be obliged to supply the goods at the advertised price. All prices and offers are subject to change and availability. Quotations are given irrespective of the availability of products.  

Delivery 

We aim to stock all goods displayed on the website. We operate using a next day courier service and we will endeavour to deliver all orders the next day, weekend & bank holiday permitting, from confirmation of order. All dates quoted for delivery are estimates and are offered in good faith. Where a product may be out of stock we will replenish as soon as possible. 

Payment 

Bike-X wish to make ordering online as easy as possible, there are three main ways to purchase:-  

Credit Card / Debit Card Payment 

Bike-X accept credit and debit card payments through Barclays and PayPal.  Barclays and Paypal are leading online money transfer companies who ensure safe, secure and instant transaction. We maintain a policy whereby we do not retain any credit and debit card information during or after any payment transaction. 

Credit Account 

Bike-X will, on request and after satisfactory references, initiate a credit account application for qualifying trade customers only. Trade customers are required to provide their company registration number together with details of the company name and address, along with business references when applying for a new credit account application. Account holders who successfully complete the credit account application process and are approved will be eligible for an agreed credit limit with which they may purchase items online up to the agreed value limit.  Orders are only accepted when within the credit limit available for each trade account customer.   Please register on-line to apply for a Credit Account or email  info@bike-x.co.uk for a Credit Account Application Form.   

Pro Forma Account 

Bike-X Trade Customers can apply for a Pro Forma Account, subject to satisfactory references. We will invoice the goods ordered on the website which then must be paid in full prior to despatch.  Should you wish to discuss this payment method further please email us at info@bike-x.co.uk

Order Confirmation 

Bike-X will send you an electronic confirmation of orders placed on this website and when your payment method has been confirmed. Notification of despatch will usually be sent to you within 1-2 working days of your order being processed.   

Privacy 

We are committed to ensuring your privacy is protected and we will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent. For full details of our privacy commitments please see Privacy Notice.

Carriage 

We usually despatch orders by courier, a service which requires signature upon delivery.  Please ensure where possible that someone will be available to sign for your delivery, alternatively once the courier has been the first time a card with contact details will be left and it will then be possible to arrange collection or reschedule a more convenient delivery time. Occasionally it may be necessary to deliver goods in several consignments for which there will be no further cost. Please read Carriage & Returns for full details.   

Return of Goods 

Our returns policy is straightforward and uncomplicated. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase please contact us by email at info@bike-x.co.uk within three days. We can either arrange for an exchange or refund, at which time you will be sent a returns form. Return the goods in an unused, re-sellable condition and in the original relevant packaging, within 7 days of having received the goods, together with the fully completed returns form and we will give you a full refund of the cost of the goods, for which there will be a £5.00 fee to cover costs of any unwanted goods. Returns can only be accepted with a fully completed returns form and we reserve the right to refuse returned goods if not in the original and re-sellable condition.  Should any returns be refused we will notify you in writing with a full explanation. Please note that as the customer, it is your responsibility to arrange returns and to protect your returns we would recommend you use a registered form of delivery.  We shall refund the total amount of money paid by you for the goods, less any delivery and costs to collect the goods, if required, within 30 days starting with the day on which we receive the goods back from you, following notice of cancellation in writing from you. Any goods which are returned after the 7 day period will be subject to a restocking fee of £15.00.
